Meet Elaine Prom, a Student Facilitator and a member of our Marketing Team!

Q. Briefly describe your role at Webewell.

  • I am a marketing associate and work on Webewell’s social media content and I also work as a co-facilitator for group sessions during program season.

Q. What is your educational/professional background, and what are your plans for the future?

  • I have just graduated with a bachelors degree in strategic communication and a minor in entrepreneurship. I have plans to receive my masters degree in business in the hopes to have my own business in the future.

Q. How did you become a student facilitator?

  • I participated in the program while I was a student at the University of Utah and fell in love with the company’s mission as well as the program having experienced it myself, I asked if there were any openings available to intern.

Q. Describe your values, how did Webewell help you grow?

  • Webewell has helped me grow in so many ways. There are many things that I have found important in my life but I don’t think my own well-being has ever been first. Webewell has been a safe space for me to learn to love myself and appreciate my thoughts as well as reflect on them. Webewell has helped me become stronger for myself and for others and I couldn’t be more grateful to have a space that encourages growth.

Q. What Motivates you?

  • I find there are many things that motivate me some bigger than others but the biggest motivator would have to be my family and the people around me. I have smiled so much in my short lifetime I am thankful and it is because I’d everyone around me. The interactions and feelings I get from everyone bring me so much joy. I truly want to forward that experience to everyone.

Q. What helps you focus and helps you manage your stress?

  • Some of the biggest things that have really helped me manage my stress are being outdoors, physical activity such as walking to clear my mind, and music.

Q. Who are you when you aren’t at work or school?

  • I am a homebody that loves the outdoors, listening to good music ranging from indie, pop, country, rap, and enjoying company with loved ones over a hot cup of tea. I love cozy settings and normally one could find me hanging out in the grocery store for fun looking through yummy snacks or hiking somewhere in the Unitas to escape my thoughts.

Q. Is there anything you would like to share about Webewell?

  • Webewell is full of people who are here for people. It truly is an amazing company that works to not only bring in people who care but that reaches out to individuals who are in need. The Diverse and inclusive Webewell organization has truly created the ability to make habits for change in myself and in others as well. Truly a space that is needed during the 21st century.
