“The content took on a fresh approach and every session left me feeling in a better mood. It was neat to connect with near strangers so quickly. I also appreciated that it wasn't put on by the counseling center or psychologists - it was a great reminder that everyone can benefit from learning more about well being, not just those that are struggling. It also normalized challenges surrounding well being.” — Sierra K.

“While I wasn't sure what to expect at first, [WeBeWell] has provided me with a comfortable, encouraging space to help me reflect on my day-to-day, and I couldn't be happier for it. Often, our lives are so busy that we don't reflect on our good or bad events, rather letting those feelings simmer and stay. [WeBeWell] has allowed me a consistent space to really feel my feelings—even after years of therapy, I didn't realize how important talking about the successes and good parts of my day-to-day was for my overall mental health! I never thought of myself as a grateful person, but after [WeBeWell], I know that gratitude and celebrating my work, effort, and wins is important and rewarding, especially on hard days. This is a great resource for everyone, but I can see the curriculum especially resonating with students who may have had little to no contact with therapists. [WeBeWell] is a starting point to growth, and it's a stepping stone everyone will be grateful for.” - Alexis P.
"Being a student in the [WeBeWell] program provided me with a consistent and safe space where my thoughts were valued and appreciated. It let me discover the shared struggles and similar experiences between myself and people of all different backgrounds. After transitioning to a peer group facilitator, I feel so lucky to be on the facilitating side of this radical vulnerability and deep self-reflection, especially with the visible progress made after each session." - Erin C.
“[WeBeWell] has done continuous work with us at the First-Generation Scholars program. They have always been available and passionate to work with us. [WeBeWell] is conscious of the role that well-being plays in ethnic/first-generation students. - Mario R.
“I really feel like this should be part of every High School curriculum. The lessons include things I’ve learned in therapy but that others might not have had access to. It’s like a crash course for life and it’s really teaching us how to be human.” - Edward T.
“The [WeBeWell] program has been an enlightening, enjoyable, educational, and beneficial experience. Even though members were offered $75 to participate in the program, I would have gladly done it for free. During a time when many of us are dealing with a pandemic that has affected us in different ways, programs like this are helpful in getting us realigned, and in touch with not only our own well-being, but also the well-being of others. Many thanks to everyone who made it happen!” - Jimi T.
“[WeBeWell] is like a book club for mental health. I love meeting new people, especially since it's very hard to do so during the pandemic. I love hearing different people's experiences about various topics and seeing the similarities and differences... Alex's meditations are better than Headspace!" - Edward T.
“For me, [WeBeWell] began as an opportunity to learn valuable skills for getting through an unusual college experience. I can say with certainty that the program has provided this and much more, introducing me to people and opportunities that have contributed to an incredible first year at the U despite its unique challenges. As an intern this Spring, I’ve been proud to share this program with my friends and peers and to help make their experience as beneficial as mine.” - Zander L.
